The Hangout Gulf Shores
This is a fun, upbeat place to hang out right on the beach. If you are with kids, it’s a good spot too...there is a foam machine outside, as well as a foosball table, a giant connect four game, and a sandy area with a large tunnel and Adirondack chairs for the parents to sit in while they play. The food was overpriced in my opinion and not the best—but also not terrible. If we were to go again, we would plan it out better and arrive earlier for lunch and then plan to stay at the beach for the day. It’s touristy, but large enough to not be too affected by the crowds.
